Infor M3 ERP Support Manager

Salary: £60,000–£95,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Tiptree, Essex, with occasional travel within the Essex area as required.

Working Hours: 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid working available with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

We are looking for an experienced Infor M3 Applications Support Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day support, improvement and ongoing development of our ERP platform and connected business applications. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong Infor M3 experience who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping users get the best from business critical systems.

About the role

As Infor M3 Applications Support Manager, you will act as the key link between operational teams, IT and external support partners. You will ensure incidents and requests are handled effectively, lead root cause analysis for recurring issues, manage change control, and identify opportunities to improve workflows, data quality and system adoption.

You will also play an important role in continual service improvement, helping the business move away from manual workarounds and towards stronger, more consistent processes within Infor M3 CloudSuite. The role includes line management responsibility for one BI and Reporting Analyst, with a focus on reporting, data quality and effective use of Power BI and Birst.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for Infor M3, including functional troubleshooting and user support.
  • Lead continual service improvement across ERP processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, usability and data quality.
  • Map current business processes and design improved future-state workflows aligned to Infor M3 capability and good practice.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional outcomes, configuration changes or controlled enhancement requests.
  • Own governance for ERP changes, including impact assessment, testing, approval, deployment and rollback planning.
  • Manage integrations, supplier escalations and third-party support requests relating to Infor M3 and connected applications.
  • Support the planning and delivery of ERP improvement projects and contribute to the wider IT applications roadmap.
  • Line manage, coach and support one BI and Reporting Analyst, ensuring reporting outputs align with business priorities.
  • Develop user confidence through guidance, documentation, training and supportive change adoption.
