About us

We specialise in Wills, Probate Administration and Lasting powers of Attorney. We have been in practise for some 27 years and also have a branch in Rochford.

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in providing administrative support to our legal professionals. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining an efficient and organised office environment, ensuring the smooth running of legal operations.

Duties:- working within the sector of Wills and Probate at our central Southend office.

Duties to include:

  • Drafting Last Will and Testaments
  • Meeting with clients and taking instructions
  • Day-to-day office duties to include, filing, case management and diary management
  • Signing and Witnessing Last Will and Testaments and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Provide administrative support and work as part of a team
  • Assist in Organise and maintain legal files- Communicate with clients and schedule appointments- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Must be reliable, committed, hardworking and loyal.

Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to analyse legal documents and conduct research effectively- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office suite
