Procurement Contracts Manager

Location: Maidstone (with travel between KIMS Hospital and Lyca Health sites as required)
Hours: 40 hours per week. Full-time

Starting Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Procurement and Contracts professional looking for your next challenge? KIMS Hospital and Lyca Health are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Contracts Manager to join our team, supporting our commitment to patient safety, outstanding care, and value for money.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where your expertise in contracts management, procurement, and supplier relationships will play a vital role in ensuring we deliver the very best outcomes for our patients and organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Lead on managing procurement contracts across the Group, including medical consumables, implants, services, and equipment.
  • Ensure robust contract governance, mitigating legal, commercial, and financial risks.
  • Support effective tendering and negotiations to drive value for money and enhance purchasing power.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring procurement supports efficient clinical outcomes.
  • Implement and manage a user-friendly contract register and ensure timely reviews.
  • Provide commercial insight to major projects, supplier negotiations, and cost management processes.
  • Contribute to the digitalisation of procurement and contract management processes across KIMS and Lyca Health.

About You

We’re looking for a strong and empathetic leader who can inspire others and build trust with colleagues and partners. You will bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in contracts management within procurement & supplies.
  • CIPS or degree-level qualification in Procurement, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to lead change, negotiate complex contracts, and deliver continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting patient-focused healthcare.

Desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare procurement or a similar regulated environment.
  • Track record in successful supplier negotiations and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organisational and team-building skills with a collaborative, achievement-focused approach.
