Do you want to help deliver value for money across LHP?
Do you have experience working in a procurement role?
We’re looking for a Procurement and Contracts Officer who turn smart spending into real community impact. Your work will ensure we achieve value for money, enabling us to invest more in the services and homes our customers rely on.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to lead procurement activities and secure the goods and services we need efficiently and effectively. By managing contracts and service agreements throughout their lifecycle and advising on the best procurement approaches, you’ll help service managers achieve successful outcomes while ensuring value for money and compliance with procurement requirements.

Where I’d work:
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own diary and the flexibility to work from locations that best support the delivery of the projects your working on. This could be at our main offices in Grimsby or Boston, our various community hubs, at home, local coffee shops, or wherever works best for you.
You will be expected to attend team and contractor meetings in person, typically around once per month.

- Using Microsoft Office and business systems confidently and effectively.
- Even better if you bring:
- Achieved (or working towards) level 4 or above of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) qualification and gained the relevant procurement experience.
- Experience working within the social hosing sector A track record in delivering Social Value
What does a typical week look like ?
As a Procurement and Contacts Officer, your week will be varied, people ‑ focused, and full of opportunities to make a real difference.
At the heart of this role is supporting colleagues to maximise value for money and spend wisely. A typical week could involve:
- Helping colleagues make informed procurement decisions that deliver value for money.
- Running and supporting tender exercises from planning through to contract award.
- Working with suppliers and contract managers to improve performance and deliver social value.
- Analysing spend and contract data to identify savings and efficiencies.
- Managing the procurement pipeline and ensuring projects stay on track. Finding innovative ways to improve services, maximise resources and benefit our communities.
