Product Tender Manager

Cairo

Full Time (40 hours) Fixed Term

Monday - Friday working hours are between 8.00am - 6.00pm UK time

Role Overview

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the bid/tender process from RFP/RFQ receipt to submission in order to produce high quality content to support our bids, tenders, and renewals that focus on ensuring we demonstrate why Bupa is better for business with prospective, current and renewing clients

You will be collaborating with colleagues including Account Managers, Product & Propositions, Marketing, Pricing, Legal and Operations teams to help coordinate and project manage new and existing business tender projects.

You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Working with the Senior Tender Team manager and the Account Managers to produce high quality content to support our bids, tenders, and renewals
  • Producing clear and persuasive response to tender questions ensuring consistent tone, messaging and compliance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues including Account Managers, Product & Propositions, Marketing, Pricing, Legal and Operations teams to help coordinate and project manage new and existing business projects.
  • Working across multiple services lines for UK Insurance and Health Clinics.
  • Working independently on new and existing business and client engagement activities.
  • Developing project plans for new business and renewal activity, leading the development of win themes and propositions, overseeing the development of presentations, and managing, maintaining and improve the operational processes for bids, tenders, renewals, and client reviews.
  • Acting with integrity and a customer focus to ensure tenders are compliant, accurate, on brand, align to customer needs, easy to assimilate and maximises Bupa scores at customer evaluation

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Previous copywriting/bid writing experience is essential, preferably in a business development context
  • An understanding of the tender process and the role of copywriting to deliver successful outcomes
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills
  • Familiar with copywriting/bid writing styles best suited for long and short form documents and best practices for digital activity
  • Can demonstrate understanding of proposition development and the role of client insights in the bid and tender process
  • An enthusiastic team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to assimilate and condense complex information quickly, recognising the important issues
  • Collaborative and proactive to actively coordinate and support the new business process
  • Solid presentation skills with professionalism in all written and verbal communication
  • Educated to degree level
