Full job description
Company – io.tt
Location – London, UK
Reports to – Head of Product
io.tt is the platform for connected packaging. We generate compliant GS1 Digital
Link serialised codes that power connected experiences on products.
Our platform is used by brands to support marketing, compliance and brand
protection, all through a single code on-pack.
It turns product packaging into a direct media channel, while providing clear, usable
data on how products are being interacted with across markets, helping teams
understand engagement, optimise experiences and make better decisions.
About the Role
We are a small product team that has built a platform used by some of the world’s
largest brand owners to manage connected packaging.
As the product has grown, so has the gap between how it is built and how it is used
in practice.
We are looking for a Product Manager to focus on product experience. This role will
take ownership of how the platform is used day-to-day, with a particular focus on
onboarding, analytics and usability across different types of users.
You will also be responsible for improving how customer health and usage is
understood internally, through better data and tooling.
Reporting into the Head of Product, you will spend time with customers through
demos, onboarding and support. The expectation is that you take what you learn and
translate it into clear product decisions that can be prioritised and delivered.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Understanding how customers actually use the platform, through onboarding, demos, support and direct interaction.
- Identifying where the product is difficult to use, particularly for new or less experienced users.
- Turning those observations into structured product input, including problem definitions, feature briefs and proposed improvements.
- Owning the thinking around onboarding and analytics, and how these should evolve as the product grows.
- Working closely with product, design and engineering team to move ideas through to delivery.
- Using product and usage data to support decisions, and improving how that data is surfaced within the platform.
- Acting as a consistent link between customer behaviour and product development.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working within a product team, or in a role with clear product ownership.
- Comfortable speaking to customers and running demos or onboarding sessions.
- Ability to take unstructured input and turn it into clear product thinking.
- Comfortable contributing to product decisions, including defining problems, shaping solutions and working with engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customerswhere needed.
- Comfortable working with data and identifying patterns in product usage.
- Organised and able to manage multiple workstreams, taking ideas through to delivery.
Experience
- 3–6+ years in a product, product operations, or closely related role.
- Experience working on a SaaS product.
- Evidence of working closely with customers / end-users
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
What We Offer
- A collaborative, hands-on environment with 3/4+ days per week in our London office
- Holiday: 20 days plus festive shutdown, with an additional day per year of service (capped at 5)
- Vitality health insurance (post-probation)
- “Work From Anywhere” for 1 week per year (UK time)
- Dog-friendly office, stocked with breakfast, drinks and snacks
- Regular team events
Benefits:
- Cycle to work scheme
- Health & wellbeing programme
- Life insurance
- Sick pay
