Full job description

I’m looking for a talented videographer and editor to work closely with me and help document my life, business, and behind-the-scenes moments.

This is not a traditional videography / video editor role. I’m looking for someone with great instincts for storytelling... and someone who understands the vlog / youtube documentary landscape.

I'm looking for someone who can spot meaningful moments, capture authentic interactions, and help my journey as founder into engaging YouTube content. I'm building an empire and I want someone to document the journey, to storytell, and to make the story aesthetic & cinematic.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow me during my day to day to capture content for vlogs and social media.
  • Film talking-head videos and educational content.
  • Setup camera, lighting, audio, etc.
  • Help shoot direct-response ads and marketing videos.
  • Shoot, edit and colour grade high-quality photos.
  • Identify interesting stories, moments, and angles that others might miss.
  • Edit the videos to a high standard and turn them into a weekly vlog.

What I’m Looking For

  • Strong videography and camera skills.
  • Excellent storytelling instincts.
  • Ability to capture authentic, unscripted moments.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting quickly.
  • Professional, reliable, and highly organised.
  • Positive attitude and easy to work with.
  • Confidence getting the camera out & filming in public.
  • Assertiveness to lead narrative and ask questions to build the storyline (I'm busy so I need someone to lead and own this).
  • Willingness to travel in and out of the UK for trips when needed (up to multiple times per month for several days).
  • Comfortable being around business meetings, and personal events while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Bonus Skills

  • Motion graphics.
  • Photography editing and retouching.
  • Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Understanding of direct-response advertising and social media content.
  • Understanding of YouTube retention strategies,

The Ideal Person

You don’t just know how to operate a camera, you understand how to tell a story.

You know when to capture the big moments and when to capture the small ones. You can make ordinary days feel interesting, spot compelling narratives as they happen, and help create content that people genuinely want to watch.

You're willing to work hard, you're ambitious, you want to learn, and you're coachable.

The ideal person is also obsessed with all things self-development.

If you’re the type of person who watches a vlog and thinks about the story, pacing, emotion, and moments behind the footage, not just the camera settings, we’d love to hear from you.

To Apply

Please send:

  • Examples of your best video work (videography and video editing).
  • Examples of any photography work.
  • A brief explanation of why you think you’d be a great fit for this role.
  • Links to any YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or other content you’ve created.

P.S. - You can find me on socials if you search Bradley Riley, and the company I'm building is called Your Marketing Partners.

P.P.S - To give you an idea of style I am after, you can also search vlog series and channels such as: Daniel Dalen & Behind The Diary to get an idea of inspiration.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

  • What is the most recent self-development book, course, podcast, or training you completed? What were your key takeaways, and how have you applied what you learned?
  • This role involves regular travel, early mornings, late finishes, occasional weekend work and overnight stays. Are you able to meet these requirements? If yes, please briefly describe any previous role or experience that required a similar level of flexibility.
  • Great content often requires confidence in public. Tell us about a time you had to step outside your comfort zone to get the shot. How do you approach filming in busy public places or directing someone on camera when others are watching?
  • Can you make everyday moments feel cinematic? We’d love to hear how you approach turning ordinary moments into compelling stories through filming and editing. If possible, include links to work that best represents this style (e.g. cinematic vlogs, documentaries or founder content).
  • Who are your favourite YouTube creators or filmmakers, and what do you admire about their editing or storytelling style?
