Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and organised Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operation of production work, manage a team of creative makers and produce a range of creative displays in preparation for onsite delivery. This work is focused on the production of high-quality decor displays including props, preserved moss creations, replica/live floral arrangements and more.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment, with room to grow and to develop multiple skills within the operations of a thriving business.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production work, involving the processing of new orders, sourcing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs and scheduling staff to make displays ahead of required delivery date.
  • Overseeing a changeable workload, working to tight deadlines while proactively managing tasks and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise delivery and support the wider Operations team with relevant information for production and execution of creative installations.
  • Assisting with producing RAMS documents for onsite delivery.
  • Lead production improvement initiatives and ensure production spaces are managed and maintained to high health and safety standards.
  • Measure performance and efficiencies of production team members, ensuring high quality standard of work is produced within required profit guidelines.
  • Support onboarding and development of production team members, providing hands on training and guidance on making processes.
  • Providing accurate estimations for bespoke displays for our Sales team to quote to clients. As well as assisting with design concepts, presentations and drawings/moodboards where required.
  • Producing detailed job costings for completed projects and production reports for senior management.

Skills

  • Expert understanding of production and installation processes with hands on experience in creative installations, floristry, set dressing or prop making.
  • Ability to create budgets and manage costings sheets with accurate detail and information.
  • Passion for innovative design and creative solutions
  • Supreme standards of quality across an end-to-end service
  • Highly organised with demonstrative experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quick-thinking, flexible, and adaptive to the constant changing of circumstances within the department and company.
  • Strong communicator who is personable and professional to both external clients and internal staff
  • Ability to manage your workload independently while collaborating closely with wider teams.
  • Proficient IT skills and ability to work on multiple systems and online platforms.
  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Ability to drive company vans preffered
