Job Title - Production Administrator (Assistant to Production Planner)

Reporting to - General Manager

Hours of work - 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday;

08.00 – 15.00 Friday; Full Time

Salary/Wage - £ tbc - paid 4 weekly

Parking - Limited parking

Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a world leader in the design & manufacturer of bespoke aircraft interiors and upholstery systems.

Due to Continued Expansion, we require an additional Production Administrator to join our busy Team.

Main duties will include:

  • To provide administrative support to the Production Planner and General Manager
  • Raising and Releasing Production Process Sheets
  • Daily recording of Key Performance Indicators
  • Assisting with the completion of Corrective Action Reports
  • Liaising with Production & Development Teams on Schedule arrears and updates
  • Update of Production Shopfloor Board as necessary
  • Entering Purchase Orders on Sage where required
  • Providing help and assistance with any other production office duties as and when required, including answering incoming calls

This position requires the following skills & abilities:

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Sage is an advantage, but training will be given
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be useful
  • Have good communication skills – in written and spoken English
  • Be confident in working with a computer, with a good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word in particular.
  • Is numerate, with a GCSE in Maths and English
  • Willing to take responsibility for allocated tasks and actions, be able to work on own initiative as well as being a valuable member of our small, busy team
  • Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks related to production administration and controls
