Job Purpose

The Manufacturing Planning & Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting production planning, SAP system administration, inventory control, operational reporting and continuous improvement activities. The role ensures the accuracy of manufacturing data, supports efficient production operations and assists management in driving operational excellence.

The role acts as the operational coordination centre between Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality and Finance departments.

1. Manufacturing Planning & Control (MPC)

Production Planning Support

Responsible for:

  • Assist in preparing weekly production plans
  • Assist in preparing daily production schedules
  • Update production schedules
  • Monitor production progress
  • Follow up production completion status
  • Escalate production delays and risks

Material Requirements Monitoring

Responsible for:

  • Monitor raw material availability
  • Monitor packaging availability
  • Monitor production consumables availability
  • Report potential shortages
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse departments

Inventory Control Support

  • Responsible for:

  • Labour efficiency improvement

Track project progress and report results.

6. OEE & Downtime Reporting

Responsible for:

  • Collect OEE data
  • Maintain downtime records
  • Analyse downtime causes
  • Prepare OEE reports
  • Support improvement initiatives

7. Operations Administration

Responsible for:

Qualification Requirements

Essential

  • College diploma or above
  • Good Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic SAP knowledge preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
