Kittle Photographic Is a market leading school photography company working with schools all over the UK

Job description

Due to our ever growing diary, we currently require a number of hardworking and reliable photographers to complete short term contracts throughout the UK. We run 2 contract terms: April to June and September to November each year. Each contract lasting for approx. 10 weeks. Successful photographers are invited back each season year after year.

Please bear in mind you will be applying for the September-November contract initially which will have a start date of Tuesday 25th August at our training week held in Chelmsford.

The successful person will be the ambassador of the company Photography brand. You will need to be fit and active as there is physical work involved when carrying photographic equipment from shoot to shoot.

Whilst school photography experience helps, a lively personality and a “can-do” attitude are a must. all photographic training will be provided, and we are looking to build a reliable and long term team of Freelance Photographers.

Photographic equipment can be provided if you cannot supply your own, but you will need to provide your own vehicle. Your mileage and any travel expenses will be paid.

Day rates start at £100 per day, if we are supplying all the equipment, raising to £130 a day if you are supplying cameras, 4 studio lights, laptop etc. (list available on request) Equipment specific to us as a company such as backdrops are supplied.

These are starting day rates for untrained new applicants and after some length of service and photography standards being met, we are open to a further rise.

All applicants should:

- Have an innate ability to work with children of all ages

- Be pleasant mannered and personable with a professional demeanour

- Enjoy meeting new people

- Be flexible in working times as early starts/late finishes may be necessary during term-time

- You must be able to entertain a roomful of school children, previous experience of this as an entertainer, class teacher or TA , photographer etc is essential

And finally…all applicants must have a full UK driving license and use of a car daily. immediately prior to commencing employment must be willing to undergo a DBS check (or provide details of any previous DBS checks) and provide two referees.
