Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project engineers to oversee, document and report engineering projects from initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • oversee engineering projects from start to finish
  • oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and operations
  • Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and material ordering
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • Previous experience in a Project Engineer or similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
