· Ensuring projects meet relevant health & safety requirements and statutory legislation.
· Identifying project risks and developing appropriate solutions and responses.
· Managing external consultants and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
· Supporting and developing junior members of the project team.
· Contributing to the development of processes and structures within the project
The right candidate will have/be:
· A minimum of 5 years' experience within the sector with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
· Experience in retail, leisure or hospitality project management, either client-side or contractor-side.
· A proven background delivering high-end retail interior fit-out projects across the UK.
· Strong technical knowledge, particularly across M&E, FF&E and value engineering.
· A good understanding of construction health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.
· Strong commercial awareness, including experience with estimates, budgets and project costs.
· A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
