Job Overview
We’re working in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council and need an energetic, and imaginative person to coordinate things for us.
You will lead the Carmarthenshire Micro Care Programme (part of ‘Catalysts for Care’ project) which will support local entrepreneurial people and community organisations to offer new and creative care and support options for people who need help at home or in their communities. In this way we will help people to get the support they need to live the life they want.
This is a maternity cover role for 13 months starting August 6th 2026.
To do this job you must:
- Understand the world of care
- Be a real people person – able to work well with all communities with confidence.
- Instinctively make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
- Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.
Have a look at the micro care directory / info page and the job description on the PLANED website for more information about us and the job. You will be employed by PLANED and based in Carmarthenshire working from the Living Well Centre, Parc Dewi Sant as well as remotely, with support from our offices in Narberth.
To apply, download the application form and job description from our website, complete and sent to lee.james@planed.org.uk
Closing date for applications is 12.00noon on Friday 26th June 2026. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 1st July at the Living Well Centre, Parc Dewi Sant, Carmarthen. We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community.
Pay: £30,450.00 per year
Benefits:
- Company pension
- On-site parking
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Carmarthen SA31 3HB
