Full job description

37 hours per week.

We’re looking for a Commercial and Partnerships Officer to help maximise the impact of our residential and commercial portfolio across Valleys to Coast.

This is a varied and influential role where no two days are the same. You’ll support the management of our commercial assets including shops, garages, garage bases and community buildings, while also helping to shape decisions around the future viability of our residential portfolio.

You’ll work closely with colleagues, consultants and subsidiary partners to identify opportunities, improve performance, support disposals and acquisitions, and ensure our assets continue to deliver both financial and social value.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on our organisation's long-term sustainability and our commitment to providing value for money. Your work will involve supporting strategic acquisitions and disposals, where you will see the tangible results of your efforts through active projects and sales. Additionally, you will explore creative and innovative ways to repurpose underperforming sites and assets to maximise their potential.

You’ll support renewable energy and sustainability initiatives, including solar and PV projects, work across subsidiary partnerships and contract management arrangements and help to shape future investment and commercial decisions through data and insight.

As an equal opportunities employer, Valleys to Coast is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and does not condone discrimination on the basis of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, or marriage and civil partnership. We aspire to have a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join Valleys to Coast.

Valleys to Coast reserves the right to close the job role earlier than the specified closing date if sufficient applications have been received. Therefore, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as reasonably practicable. We look forward to hearing from you.
