ABOUT US

The Ministry of Sound opened in 1991 in a disused bus garage in a forgotten corner of South London. It was the first nightclub in the UK to have a 24-hour licence, didn’t serve alcohol and featured an earth-shaking sound system in a specially constructed dance box.

We went on to become the world’s largest independent record company, now with Sony, and stage giant dance events. We were pioneers in electronic music and have a history of taking risks, innovation, and colourful and creative marketing.

Thirty years later we opened The Ministry, a workspace run as a member’s club, in a 50,000 sq. ft Victorian warehouse in SE1. The design is relaxed but functional with a bar, opening windows, an outside courtyard and plenty of space to sit, relax, work and socialise – everything you wouldn’t expect to find in a standard office. There’s great home cooked F&B, a state-of-the-art gym and fitness studio with daily classes, together with a cultural and business events programme.

As a business we don’t take ourselves too seriously, like to laugh and have fun, but we have high standards, a relentless attention to detail and the continuous improvement of our product, and we work hard as a team. We hate cliché, doing things the way others do and continuously seek to differentiate our brands and products almost as a point of pride.

THE ROLE

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering marketing initiatives across The Ministry and Ministry of Sound Games. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will support campaign delivery, member engagement and audience growth across multiple channels, combining creative execution with strong organisation and project coordination.

The role includes creating and distributing email campaigns and newsletters, producing compelling copy, maintaining audience data and supporting automated customer journeys. You will monitor campaign performance, provide insights to improve engagement, and support the promotion of events, workshops and community programmes through communications, listings and marketing materials.

You will coordinate influencer and media activity, manage outreach, maintain contact databases and track results, while working with agencies and partners to maximise coverage for key events and projects. The role also supports partnership and business development activity through research, database management, proposal support and coordination of partnership deliverables.

Operationally, you will maintain websites, landing pages, event listings, third-party directories and marketing assets, ensuring content, imagery, pricing and promotional messaging remain accurate and on-brand. You will manage marketing trackers, calendars, reports and documentation, support ticketing operations and customer communications, and contribute to reporting, analysis and performance tracking across the business.

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented marketer with excellent written communication and copywriting skills, strong administrative and coordination abilities, and the confidence to manage multiple projects and deadlines. You will be proactive, reliable and solutions-focused, with the ability to build effective relationships and take ownership of projects from brief to execution. Experience with CRM platforms, Klaviyo and WordPress is advantageous, alongside a willingness to learn new systems.

An interest in hospitality, events, fitness, culture and community-driven brands will help you thrive in this fast-paced and varied role.
