Farringdon, London – hybrid working available
We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised, knowledgeable and customer focused candidate to expand their housing knowledge and join our Contract Services team as a Resident Liaison Officer. In this role, you will be the main point of planned re-investment and maintenance works and projects. You will liaise with residents, colleagues and external stakeholders in the shaping of services and identifying requirements and be handling and resolving complaints, with a high level of service, working with a dynamic team to manage the maintenance of over 10,000 homes. Southern Housing is dedicated to delivering excellent services and improving our resilience. We are also keen to build new homes and grow our organisation.
You will be based at our Farringdon office and be expected to work onsite at least two days a week, with the remaining three days worked from home.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of facilitation of resident involvement forums and focus groups.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of key factors and methods required to sustain, promote, and ensure effective resident involvement, and consultation.
- Experience of providing a customer-focused, high-quality service and managing complaints.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in written reports.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
