Role Description

This is a role for a Specialist Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) Assessor.

Responsibilities include conducting professional assessments for clients with SpLDs such as dyslexia, producing detailed and high-quality reports, and providing expert insights in line with professional standards. The role also involves liaising with clients, as required, ensuring timely and compliant service delivery. Regular communication with our internal teams and adherence to relevant guidelines and frameworks will be key aspects of the position.

Requirements

❗ Level 7 SpLD qualification with a minimum of 2 years post formal qualification

❗ Minimum 2 years post level 7 qualification experience with hands on assessment experience

❗ Current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC)

❗ Current membership of a recognised professional body (e.g BDA, PATOSS, Dyslexia Guild)

❗ Strong knowledge of psychometric tools used to assess for dyslexia and/or dyscalculia

❗ Experience producing reports accepted for DSA, EHCP, Exam Access Arrangement and/or workplace assessments

Fees

  • Dyslexia & dyscalculia Assessments (face to face & remote) - £360 per single assessment - £540 for combined assessment
  • Full neurodiversity screening (non-diagnosis) - £160 (remote)

Pay: £60.00 per hour
