Cognitive Rehabilitation Assistant (CRA)

  • Location: Kingston Upon Thames. Applicants should be located within 1hr drive radius.
  • Salary: Part-Time: From £15/hour (DOE)
  • Additional benefits include travel expenses, milage, enhanced evening/weekend rates, and performance bonuses.
  • Hours: Approx 20 hours per week, depending on availability, Monday-Sunday, 12.30pm-6.30pm daily. (hiring 2 candidates to share package).
  • Drivers required: Applicants with a full clean driving license, and access to their own vehicles essential
  • Ideally suited to: Psychology or Neuroscience graduates/undergraduates (or related field), looking to kick start a career in Neurorehabilitation.

About the Role

We are looking for a CRA to join our team for a package of support provision covering the PT hours listed above (Approx 20 hrs per week). Set across a range of locations, you will be engaging in a cognitive rehabilitation program and community support package, while being supervised by clinicians and liaise with a wider multi-disciplinary team.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting the client in their home and community to improve independence , enhance function and personal goals.
  • Implementing tailored cognitive rehabilitation programs, including strategy development, psychological approaches, and fatigue management.
  • Facilitating social, vocational, and leisure activities that align with the client’s interests.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a package of rehabilitation approaches.
  • Empowering the client to overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their potential.
