Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where attention to detail and a passion for hospitality are highly valued. Previous experience in a bar setting or late nate venue is preferred, along with strong organisational and time management skills.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation.
  • Engage with customers to enhance their experience, providing recommendations when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Collect glasses around the venue when neccesary

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, serving roles is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
  • A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish, providing valuable experience within beverage industry.
