Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a Waiter and Bar and if you like mowing the lawn on a ride on mower you can do that too; live-in staff member. This role involves providing exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment while residing on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a dynamic setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry whilst enjoying the benefits of live-in accommodation. Must be a self starter and take pride in your work. The accommodation is free and we charge for gas and electricity as used by you. A good opportunity to save money.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages at the bar, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist with food service when required, including taking orders and serving dishes
  • Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed, and assisting with inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Live on-site, providing support for events or functions as required, ensuring smooth operation during busy periods
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer experiences and uphold the establishment’s reputation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
  • Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels
  • Experience working in a restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Graduate position or Under Graduate position during the summer holidays
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role

Pay: £12.71 per hour
