Working in partnership with our existing co-General Manager, you’ll share responsibility for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and leading our team.

Role overview

As part of a job-share leadership team, you’ll collaborate on all aspects of venue management including staff leadership, financial performance, looking after a very busy cellar, event planning, marketing, and engaging with the community. Strong communication and handover practices between job-share partners will be essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Jointly oversee the daily operation of the venue, ensuring excellent service standards at all times
  • Lead, train, support, and inspire the team, assisting with recruitment, development, and performance
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and cellar operations to maintain product quality
  • Plan and deliver promotional events.
  • Help with social media, planning and promotion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community

  • Coordinate operational handovers and communication between job-share managers to maintain consistency
  • Participate in bar service and operational shifts as required

About you

  • Proven leadership experience in hospitality or venue management
  • Passion for customer experience and the craft beer / cask ale world
  • Confident in bar operations, including cellar management
  • Strong organisational, communication, and team-leadership skills
  • Financial awareness with experience managing budgets, stock, and reporting
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with a job-share partner and wider leadership team
  • Interest in marketing, events, and community engagement

If you’re excited about the opportunity but worried you may not have all the experience necessary, we would still love to hear from you. We value enthusiasm, transferable experience, and a willingness to learn more than ticking every box.
