Role Overview:

As the Restaurant Manager at Taquero, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the venue. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and consistently deliver our brand promise. You will be responsible for leading, training and inspiring the team, overseeing guest interactions, and contributing to the overall success of Taquero.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing all aspects of the venue's operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of dishes, adhering to our culinary standards.

Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, addressing inquiries and concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Train, coach, and motivate staff to uphold service excellence and promote a positive work environment.

Contribute to developing and implementing promotional strategies to drive footfall and revenue growth.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed and optimising stock control processes.

Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a management or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and culture is a plus.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
