Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness, and create memorable experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for hospitality, mixology, and team management to elevate our bar’s reputation and success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of bar operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels of beverages and ingredients.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise bartenders, servers, and support staff to deliver outstanding service while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, alcohol licensing laws, and health standards at all times.
  • Oversee food preparation and culinary aspects related to bar service, including cocktail garnishes and small plates when applicable.
  • Develop innovative drink menus, train staff on new recipes, and promote signature cocktails to attract guests.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending with a strong knowledge of mixology techniques.
  • Supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and food production processes.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus.
