Full job description

The Deputy Head of Venues – Food and Beverage plays a key leadership role within the Venues Department, supporting the delivery and development of one of the busiest and most diverse venue operations in the UK and the largest capacity nightclub in Cardiff.

The postholder will lead the operational delivery of food and beverage services across Cardiff Students’ Union’s bars, nightclub, live music, pub and food outlets, ensuring high standards of customer experience, safety, commercial performance and team development.

Working closely with the Head of Venues, the role will support the continued growth of the department through innovation, staff development, operational excellence and the enhancement of both student and commercial offerings. The role will also act as a senior operational manager during major trading periods and events, helping to deliver safe, inclusive and memorable experiences for students, clients and visitors.
