Job Overview

As Assistant General Manager, you’ll help lead day-to-day bar & restaurant operations, supporting a welcoming guest experience and a well-organised team. This is a hands on role, leading service from the front line (or in the trenches on station 1 on a Saturday night!)

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with daily operations, team coordination and service delivery.
  • Supervise and help training of team members, helping maintain clear communication and consistent standards.
  • Assist with food service, bartending and barista duties as needed.
  • Assist with seasonal cocktail / wine / beer specials.
  • Your impact: By coordinating people and service effectively, you help guests enjoy a smooth, welcoming visit, helping maintain our high levels of customer service, while enabling colleagues to work confidently together.

Skills

  • Leadership, team management and supervising experience are essential for supporting staff and daily operations.
  • Previous 'management level' restaurant, cocktail bar or hotel hospitality experience is essential.
  • Cocktail bartending and barista experience is required, along with WSET qualifications - although we can assist in any 'polishing up'.
  • Genuine love for hospitality, and creating the perfect guest experience is essential.

Pay: Up to £37,000.00 per year
