Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team within a stylish and busy hospitality venue renowned for its exceptional food, warm service and memorable guest experiences. Offering a combination of elegant restaurant dining, relaxed pub atmosphere, private events and outdoor spaces, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a quality-driven environment.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring consistently high standards of service and creating outstanding experiences for guests. You will lead, motivate and develop the team while working closely with the kitchen and senior management to drive performance and maintain an exceptional reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house operations across restaurant and bar service.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness and presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas and labour costs effectively.
  • Monitor stock control and ordering procedures.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive sales and maximise profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and menu delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety and licensing regulations.
  • Support private dining and special events to deliver memorable occasions.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager within a quality restaurant, hotel or premium pub environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs and drive revenue.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the floor.
  • Flexibility and commitment to maintaining high standards.
