Restaurant Manager

The Fountain at Clent

The Fountain at Clent is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our main restaurant, bar and outside areas.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage service confidently, support the team, maintain standards and help create a great experience for our guests.

Pay and Hours

£35,000 per year
43-hour contract

Key Duties

  • Manage the main restaurant, bar and outside service areas
  • Lead, support and motivate the front-of-house team
  • Manage availability and rotas
  • Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation
  • Oversee bookings, table plans and smooth service flow
  • Handle guest feedback professionally
  • Support stock control, staff rotas and daily operations
  • Work closely with the kitchen and senior management team

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a team leader or manager
  • Strong front-of-house experience
  • Confident, organised and calm under pressure
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Warm, friendly and outgoing
  • Flexible approach to evenings, weekends and busy service periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
