50 HOUR CONTRACT

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining high standards of food preparation and production.

Duties

· Take & handover customer orders

· Ensure shop is clean, tidy and always ready for customers

· Overseeing food preparation standards

· Ensuring health and safety compliance in the store

· Managing store inventory, ordering supplies & maintaining stock levels

· Leading, training and supervising staff

· Working with Profit/Loss statements reporting to admin staff

· Managing rotas

· Working to budgets

· Recruiting staff

· Stock runs when neccessary

· Crisis management & conflict resolution

· Oversee customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

· Challenge charge backs online delivery platform

· Communicating directly with owners & admin team

· Oversee cash handling and bank deposits

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is essential.
  • Experience in supervising staff in both kitchen and front-of-house settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience.
