Full job description

Package: % of Sales (to be discussed)

Accommodation: On‑site accommodation available

Start: Opening mid-July

A well‑known independent pub on Falmouth’s historic harbourside is preparing to reopen after refurbishment, and we’re looking for a Pub Managing Partner to lead the venue into its next chapter.

This is a unique opportunity to run a prominent Cornish pub with strong local roots, year‑round footfall, and one of the best waterfront locations in town. As Managing Partner, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the venue’s atmosphere, events, and service, with the backing of an experienced operator.

What the partnership offers

  • Run the pub as if it’s your own with operational freedom
  • Sales share model that rewards your success
  • Business support provided (maintenance, compliance, finance)
  • Creative freedom to develop events, menus, and community activity
  • A venue with huge potential in a high‑visibility, high‑footfall location

About the venue

Situated directly on Falmouth’s waterfront, the pub attracts a mix of locals, students, families, and visitors exploring the harbour and town centre. With indoor and outdoor seating, a strong food and drink offer, and space for events, it’s perfectly placed for a dynamic operator to make their mark.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in managing a busy pub preferred
  • Strong operational and commercial skills
  • A hands‑on leader who builds positive, motivated teams
  • Confident with social media and modern hospitality marketing
  • Creative approach to events, service, and guest experience
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Passion for community, hospitality, and delivering a welcoming environment

About us

We’re an independent operator committed to running great pubs with personality and purpose. We give our Managing Partners the autonomy to lead their venue their way, supported by a reliable and experienced owner.

Interested?

If you’re an ambitious operator ready to take on a flagship Falmouth pub and shape its future, we’d love to hear from you!

Pay: £45,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
