Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve crafting beverages, managing orders, and maintaining the bar area to uphold our high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Manage cash and card transactions, demonstrating basic maths skills for accurate billing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers seated at the bar.
  • Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, providing excellent hospitality at all times.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and adhere to responsible service of alcohol policies.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
