Kitchen Porter – The Norman Knight, Wychford (Potted Goose Pubs)

Join our brand-new food-led pub with rooms, The Norman Knight in Wychford, part of the Potted Goose Pubs, as a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter. Play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and supporting our chefs in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils to high hygiene standards
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation and ingredient prep when required
  • Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, organised, and safe
  • Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Dishwasher, or similar is desirable but not essential – training provided
  • Hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic team player
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
