Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and welcoming Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team! 18 years plus only please!

In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail will help foster a warm atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. We offer a variety of beverages; hot drinks, cocktails, wine, draught beer and soft drinks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in bartending, serving, and hospitality while working in a lively environment that celebrates teamwork and excellent service.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing menu recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or dietary needs.
  • Make and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including tables, counters, cellars and service stations.
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of bartending is required, and additional server experience is also desired.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols.
  • A broad understanding of beer, wine, soft drinks, hot drinks, cocktails and the preparation of these.
  • Cellar management is desired.
  • Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage presentation.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
