We are looking for experienced bar/wait supervisor to join our team Worthing to assist at our busy Corner House Pub & Garden Worthing.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in either a bar or full table service restaurant as a supervisor, a good working knowledge of alcoholic beverages, a good understanding of menu items, but most importantly a positive working attitude, be well presented and a team player.

All our outlets are a joy to work at, we are ethical and do our utmost to foster a collaborative, fun but professional atmosphere. You will have a contract, be paid on-time and correctly, be provided with a uniform and receive the excellent benefits and perks we offer to all others. Tips are good, and shared equally with all team members including the kitchen and washing-up team members.

As a minimum you can work 24 hours plus a week, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Duties:

• Overseeing shifts
• Pub opening and closing oversight
• Joining adhoc staff and management meetings
• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking orders for food and drink
• Serving food
• Serving alcohol
• Cleaning and resetting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware as needed
• Answering phone calls
• Placing take-away orders
• Preparing cheques and processing payments
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc.
