Duty Manager – Black Horse and Rainbow, Liverpool

Black Horse and Rainbow is the newest venue from DGB Group, the team behind some of Liverpool’s best-loved bars, including Teddy’s, Pogue Mahone, Gloria’s, Petit Café and Loretta’s.

This is a chance to be part of something from day one—a new venue, a new team and an opportunity to help shape the standards and atmosphere of a pub we want people to properly love.

We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager who can confidently run busy shifts, lead from the front and create a welcoming, fun and well-run environment for both guests and the team. You’ll support the senior management team with the day-to-day operation of the venue, maintain high standards and make sure every shift runs smoothly.

You’ll be hands-on, reliable and calm under pressure, with the right balance of professionalism, personality and positive energy.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy bar or pub
• Confidence leading a team and running shifts
• Excellent guest service and operational standards
• Good knowledge of drinks and beers
• A calm, organised approach when the venue gets busy
• A hands-on team player who leads by example
• Someone who wants to be part of a strong opening team
