Temporary Self-Employed Pub Manager Opportunities

We are looking for experienced Temporary Self-Employed Pub Managers to take on the running of well-established pubs.

The Role

This role is offered on a self-employed basis, meaning you will be responsible for running the pub as the appointed operator, including employing and managing your own team.

As Pub Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring high standards across service, compliance, team management, stock control, and customer experience.

You will also be responsible for building customer loyalty, managing your team effectively, and ensuring the pub operates professionally and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the pub.
  • Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Recruiting, employing, and managing your own team.
  • Taking responsibility for staffing and payroll.
  • Managing stock, cash handling, and health and safety procedures.
  • Building strong customer relationships.
  • Driving sales, profitability, and overall business performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pub Manager.
  • A valid Personal Licence.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • A good understanding of stock, cash, controls, and profitability.
  • A hands-on approach and genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Someone who can create a welcoming, well-run pub.
