Full job description

We are looking Waiter / Waitress / Front of House Team Member to join our client -pub in Sonning Common. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our guests, ensuring every customer enjoys a welcoming and high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat customers warmly and professionally
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and with care
  • Ensure tables are clean, well-presented, and properly set at all times
  • Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations to guests
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues politely and efficiently
  • Process bills and payments accurately
  • Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and company standards
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred (training can be provided)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, reliable, and well-presented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
