Full job description

Job Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff at our busy village pub.

The role will include daytime, evening and weekend shifts, so flexibility is important.

Applicants must be 18 or over due to licensing requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking customer orders and serving drinks promptly and accurately
  • Preparing and serving a range of drinks
  • Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
  • Keeping the bar area clean, tidy and well-stocked
  • Helping with food service when required
  • Working well with the kitchen and front-of-house team
  • Managing busy periods calmly and efficiently
  • Upselling where appropriate to enhance the customer experience

Experience preferred:

  • Previous bar, restaurant or hospitality experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • A friendly, approachable attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good time management and reliability
