About the Role

We are a friendly and welcoming hospitality venue at the heart of our community in Tedburn St Mary, reopening following full refurbishment. We are dedicated to providing excellent service and a great experience for every guest. We are currently looking for full time bar staff to join our team and help deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with customers.
  • Process cash and card payments accurately using the till system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar area.
  • Restock beverages, glassware, and bar supplies as required.
  • Check customer identification to ensure compliance with licensing laws.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Previous bar, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices is desirable.

  • Previous bar experience essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices is desirable.
