Waiter / Waitress / Cocktail Bartender – Wildcard Bar & Grill
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Pay: £12.71–£14.00 per hour (depending on experience) + staff benefits
Schedule: Full-time / Part-time (flexible shifts, primarily weekends)

Welcome to The Wildcard!

We’re a lively, fast-paced sports bar and grill in the heart of Sheffield, serving up classic dishes, burgers, wings, and fresh-off-the-grill specials alongside standout cocktails and exceptional drinks— all enjoyed in a friendly, energetic atmosphere surrounded by over 40 screens and a huge jumbotron showing everyone's favourite live sports.

We're looking for an enthusiastic waiter / waitress / cocktail bartender to join our restaurant team and help deliver the elevated dining experience with top-tier service and a polished yet relaxed atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks
  • Engage with guests, offer recommendations, and create a welcoming bar atmosphere
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, stock rotation, and glassware organisation
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and licensing laws
  • Support the team during busy shifts and events
  • Handle customer queries and feedback professionally
  • Upsell premium products and promotions

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a restaurant server / waiter / waitress / bartender or in bar service (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar equipment
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Positive attitude and team‑player mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, late‑night environment
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
