- Monitoring and providing summaries of political events that are of relevance to the sectors we work; and contributing to the work of PLMR’s monitoring team
- Supporting the team with the drafting press releases
- ‘Selling in’ press releases to journalists
- Compiling stakeholder and media lists to support public affairs engagement programmes
- Joining and contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions
- Supporting client teams with day-to-day account delivery including: preparing live actions documents; supporting senior consultants in preparation for meetings; and supporting the team with client requests
- Producing regular task lists and keeping up to date timesheets
- Providing colleagues with general administrative support as required
- Developing a positive professional relationship with PLMR colleagues, and contributing to a thriving day to day working environment
- Supporting PLMR new business activities and marketing programme
- Assisting with event management activities
Key Skills and Competencies
- Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conceptualise, analyse and write persuasive arguments
- Highly motivated and able to work at pace/under own initiative
- A can-do attitude and a passion for achieving results
- Creative thinking and problem-solving

- Adept with Microsoft Office and other platforms
- Previous experience or interest in communications, public affairs, policy or PR is desirable but not required
