Deliver urgent care where and when it’s needed most

Advanced Practitioner

At DHU Healthcare, every role matters. Because every moment gives us the chance to make the difference - for patients, colleagues and communities. Wherever you join us, your compassion, commitment and skills will not only make all the difference in the moment today but also shape the care we deliver tomorrow

For them, every moment matters.

Our UEC teams deliver expert care 24/7, working together to respond quickly when it’s needed most.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide autonomous, high-quality care to first-contact patients, making a real difference to their health and experience.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients using advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practice.
  • Support timely access to care, improved patient outcomes, and excellent patient experience.
  • Collaborate closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and wider DHU services to deliver integrated, patient-centred care.
  • Use strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills to manage complex cases and provide reassurance to patients.
  • Contribute to continuous professional development and service improvement within a supportive, multi-professional team environment.

With us, your wellbeing comes first.

We’ll support your health, happiness and future with benefits that put you first. From access to the NHS pension scheme (and we’ll honour your existing NHS pension pot and holiday entitlement if you’re transferring), to wellbeing support, flexible options and career growth, we’re here to help you thrive at work and in life. For more information on the full range of benefits available click here https://dhucareers.com/working-us/our-benefits

For you, the support to go further.

With us, development is part of our culture. From essential training and apprenticeships to supportive leadership and career pathways, we’ll help you grow in ways that matter to you. Because when our people thrive, so do our patients and communities.

With us, everyone belongs.

The best care comes from teams where everyone feels valued and supported. We welcome colleagues from all backgrounds and proudly support Veterans, Reservists and military families. Inclusion and belonging are central to who we are, and together, we make the difference.

We’re proud to offer fulfilling roles with real opportunities for growth - plus training, wellbeing benefits and clear career pathways.

Ready to make the difference? We’d love to hear from you.
