GRS Footwear is an award-winning multi-channel distributor of footwear based in Cramlington, Northumberland. We supply over 1,000 UK retail outlets from high street names, right through to small independent retailers with our varied footwear ranges. We also run several B2B & B2C websites for our brands, Lunar, Grisport & Lazy Dogz.

We are looking for a pro-active, bright & ambitious, sales-driven Creative & Digital Intern / Assistant, with a clear attention to detail, to help grow our online sales and ensure that our products are represented well online.

Much of the daily workload involves working with different excel spreadsheets and databases, so a good knowledge of this program is essential. Previous experience in fashion or footwear Ecommerce or retailing is essential, as well as some knowledge of drop-shipping.

Role Overview

The Creative & Digital Intern / Assistant will support the marketing and creative teams at GRS Footwear, working across both Lunar Shoes and Grisport brands.

This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone looking to build experience across social media, styling, and e-commerce within the footwear and fashion industry. The role combines creative input with practical execution, offering exposure to real campaigns, photoshoots, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Content

• · Support day-to-day social media activity, including posting and scheduling content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Tick Tock.
• · Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored to each brand’s tone of voice.
• · Monitor comments, messages, and brand mentions; respond or escalate where appropriate.
• · Assist with content creation, including basic graphics, short-form video, stories, and reels.
• · Research trends and competitor activity within the footwear and lifestyle space.
• · Help maintain and update social media content calendars.

Styling & Shoot Support

• · Assist with styling concepts and outfit planning for photoshoots and campaigns.
• · Prepare footwear, clothing, accessories, and props for shoots.
• · Organise, steam, and care for garments and samples before and after use.
• · Support sample handling, ensuring all products are handled carefully, and returned correctly.
• · Provide on-set styling assistance, including quick adjustments and organisation.
• · Help develop mood boards and visual references to support creative direction.
• Website & E-commerce Support
• · Assist with uploading products to the website, ensuring accurate imagery, descriptions, and pricing.
• · Support the writing and publishing of blog content aligned with brand messaging.
• · Assist with general website content updates as required.

· Comfortable working across both creative and administrative tasks.

· Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
