Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor to support our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation and presentation to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bar management role or similar supervisory position is essential.
  • Experience of working in a community bar environment that serves fresh food is very advantageous
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on hospitality.
