We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Deputy Manager to join the team at The Cherry Tree, a much-loved Acorn Pubs venue that is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment and transformation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at a pivotal moment and play a key role in relaunching and establishing The Cherry Tree as one of the area's leading hospitality destinations. As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to build a high-performing team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and help drive the business forward following its exciting investment.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy hospitality environment, leads by example, and is passionate about developing people and creating a positive culture. Whether you're an established Deputy Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready for the next step, this role offers genuine opportunities for career development within the Acorn Pubs group.

About you...

As Deputy Manager you'll be working alongside the Pub Manager helping to lead the team and run our busy pub. You'll be managing busy services, planning and running special events, welcoming and looking after customers as well as helping to train and lead our lovely bar/waiting team. You'll be drawing on your knowledge and experience to decide what beers, gins and wines we offer and how our events should be run. This is a hands on role where you’ll be at the heart of everything going on ensuring that things run smoothly.
