Fox & Hounds Llancarfan

We’re Recruiting

The Fox & Hounds is a country pub at the heart of the community in Llancarfan, The Vale of Glamorgan. Leading the way in pub hospitality we provide refined unpretentious service, generous hospitality and fun place to work. Our kitchen serves, tasty pub classics and Mediterranean inspired dishes using the best ingredients we can find.

We have a cosy woodfired bar, two dining areas and a huge riverside beer garden. The pub is under new ownership and we’re going through the stages to renovate our 15th century pub, starting with the 8 ensuite bedrooms.

The Job role

We’re looking for experienced and knowledgeable front of house and bar staff to join our team who can display the following skills and qualities:

Experience within a fast-paced pub or restaurant

A customer centric attitude

Can take ownership and work methodically

An ability to go above and beyond for the customer and colleagues

Show the ability to work under pressure

Have a great eye for detail

Have excellent organisational skills

Work well within a team

Have an interest in food, wine and beer

Reliable with good timekeeping

Bar experience would be desirable

Clean working methods

Above all, we want to work with friendly people.
