Overview:

Join the opening team as a Bartender, where you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional drinks and guest experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, engaging with customers, and helping create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. Duties:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks, and other beverages to a high standard
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area throughout service
• Follow cocktail recipes and preparation standards to ensure consistency and quality
• Engage with guests, answer questions about the drinks menu, and make suitable recommendations
• Use upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and support sales
• Work closely with front of house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Follow UK licensing requirements, responsible alcohol service procedures, and health and safety standards
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and monitoring bar inventory when required
• Support private functions, events, and busy service periods as needed

Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and other beverages
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced London hospitality environment
• Good basic maths skills for handling payments and transactions accurately
• Strong teamwork and time management skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service practices
• A positive, professional attitude with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Ability to upsell drinks and make confident menu recommendations

Experience:

Previous experience working as a bartender, mixologist, bar staff member, or within the hospitality industry is required. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, pub, hotel, or events environment is an advantage.
