Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Pub assistant Manager to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment, and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is essential.

Duties

  • Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and ensuring a positive first impression
  • Managing reservations and walk-in enquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages in a timely manner
  • Handling customer queries and resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
  • Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Assisting the manager in managing staff and day to day operations of the pub.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as booking management and stock replenishment. Team rotas
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Able to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Organised, punctual, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not mandatory; full training will be provided
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
  • A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing our establishment effectively

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences in a vibrant environment. All positions are paid, reflecting the value of your contribution from day one.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
