Job Title: Qualified Accountant
Location: Belfast
Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

About the Role:
An established and reputable accountancy practice in Belfast is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic professional who is ready to build on their recent qualifications and gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.
  • Assist in the completion of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
  • Preparation and review of tax returns, including corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT.
  • Provide advisory services to clients on financial and business matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is delivered to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting, audit, and tax principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accountancy software and Microsoft Office applications.
