We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guard to join our team. If you take pride in creating a safe environment, enjoy working with people, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As the face of the development during your shift, you will play a key role in ensuring the security, presentation, and smooth running of the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role that combines security responsibilities with customer service and site management.

What You'll Be Doing

Maintaining Safety & Security

• Carrying out regular patrols of the development and surrounding areas.
• Monitoring entrances, exits, communal spaces, and access points.
• Identifying and reporting security concerns, suspicious activity, or anti-social behaviour.
• Monitoring fire safety, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Managing contractor access and ensuring appropriate authorisation is in place.

Supporting Residents & Visitors

• Providing a friendly, professional, and approachable service.
• Assisting residents and visitors with enquiries where appropriate.
• Building positive relationships while maintaining professional standards.

Keeping the Site Presentable

• Ensuring communal areas remain clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Reporting maintenance issues, defects, and health & safety concerns.
• Maintaining high personal presentation and uniform standards.

Reporting & Administration

• Completing patrol logs, incident reports, and site records accurately.
• Recording contractor visits, deliveries, and any site-related issues.
• Communicating important information to the Building Manager and wider team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in security, concierge, facilities, or customer service roles is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, calm, and confident approach.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• The ability to work independently and use initiative.
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
