Adult Social Worker – Reviews & Self-Directed Support
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Pay Rate: £40 - £42 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Condensed hours if needed and hybrid

Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a team in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified social worker with experience carrying out adult social care reviews and Self-Directed Support (SDS) assessments. You will work with adults to understand their needs, review existing care and support arrangements, and help ensure individuals receive appropriate services and support.

The Role

As an Adult Social Worker, you will:

  • Complete adult social care reviews to assess changing needs and outcomes.
  • Undertake Self-Directed Support (SDS) assessments and reviews.
  • Work directly with adults, families, carers and other professionals.
  • Assess care and support needs and identify appropriate services and interventions.
  • Develop and review care and support plans in partnership with individuals.
  • Promote choice, independence, wellbeing and person-centred outcomes.
  • Apply relevant legislation, policies and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with health and social care colleagues and other agencies.
  • Manage a caseload effectively and prioritise work according to need and risk.

Requirements

  • A recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Experience working within adult social care.
  • Experience completing adult social work reviews and assessments.
  • Knowledge and experience of Self-Directed Support (SDS).
  • Strong assessment, care planning and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with adults, families, carers and multi-disciplinary teams.
