What you'll be doing

  • NEC4 Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts under NEC4 Option A, C and E, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
  • Forecasting & Financial Control: Lead cost forecasting, budget tracking, and commercial reporting to support project delivery.
  • Main Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with delivery teams to manage contractor relationships and ensure commercial alignment.
  • Risk & Change Management: Maintain risk registers, manage change control, and support dispute resolution.
  • Mentorship & Teamwork: Share your knowledge with junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

About you

You’re a confident communicator with a sharp commercial mind and a hands-on approach. You bring solid experience in NEC4 and thrive in fast-paced, contractor-led environments. You’re passionate about delivering quality outcomes and supporting others to succeed.

Key requirements & experience

Essential:

  • Degree qualified preferably in Quantity Surveying (BSc).
  • Experience working with Main Works Contractors on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Option A, C and E.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts.


Desirable:

  • Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS).
